Metrorrhagia.com is an independent educational website. It teaches the medical term metrorrhagia and the vocabulary around it (word parts, related bleeding terms, FIGO classification and ICD-10-CM coding) for students, and includes a plain-English patient guide to bleeding between periods.

Who runs this site

Metrorrhagia.com is published by its owner as an independent project. It is not affiliated with any hospital, medical society or government body. The sources we cite (for example the NHS, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, ACOG or NICE) do not endorse this site.

Authors and medical review

Pages are written by the Metrorrhagia.com editorial team using the published sources listed on each page. No clinician has reviewed this content yet. We label every medical page "Medical review pending" until a qualified, named clinician has reviewed it. When that happens, we will add their name, credentials and review date to the page. We will never display a reviewer who hasn't actually reviewed the page.

How we make money

We plan to earn money from clearly labeled affiliate links (for example terminology courses, coding exam prep and women's health telehealth) and, later, display advertising. These never influence our content. See our affiliate disclosure.
